    Ozzie Smith named STL 'Fitness Czar'

    Ozzie Smith flips for fitness

    Baseball Hall-of-Famer Ozzie Smith will be named St. Louis fitness czar today as the metropolitan area tries to shed its image as one of the fattest in the country.

    Smith will stand alongside St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley as they launch a "Get Hooked on Health St. Louis" initiative, encouraging more exercise and a better diet. To kick it off, the two plan a free health expo.

      Is this weird or is it just me?

      The mayor of a predominately black city is white.

      The Supervisor of a predominately white country is black.

      Our Fitness Czar is a skinny black guy from Mobile.

      What a provincial and backward community we are.
