Why can't the business owners decide for themselves who they want as patrons?

People who want to smoke can do it outside. I don't want the air inside polluted with their smoke.

I don't give a shit about smokers rights.

Well, what about the business owners rights?

Forget smokers or non. Why is it that goverment is deciding?

Why can't the fuckin owner of the establishment decide.

I agree with Daze on this one.

I say leave it up to the business owner. People have a choice to patronize a business or not. If the smoke bothers them that much, they wont come back to that business. But somehow, restaraunts and other places that allow smoking continue to stay in business.
“I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”

Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.

Because all businesses come up with on their own is this Smoking Section bs.

Either they allow it or they don't. Make em decide.

ttb, I am not a smoker.
And I enjoy clean air as much as the next guy. But the only place I have a "right" to clean air is in my own home/property. Otherwise I am subject to the "rights" of the current property owner.

Why? Because non-smokers allow their rights to clean air to be trampled on.

Businesses don't freely not pollute either. The government had to force business to clean it up.

                      Same here.

Let them decide. But PICK one side...not both.

I'd like to go restaurants where I don't have to smell smoke. Not an option here.

I can choose to sit in the non-smoking section but that's it. I can still smell the smoke.

Both of my parents smoked. And, I later told both of them these exact words, "smoking is rude habit". It tells me that you don't give a damn about anyone else, just so long as you fill your needs.

As far as I'm concerned, smokers can gather at the far southeast corner of every parling lot.
