Purdue is the Mizzou of the Big 10: tons of appearances and even conference championships, but no Final Fours.
    OUCH!!

Weber isn't going anywhere, even if he's guaranteed the job is his for the taking.

Well, according to the DP Show, they say that Keady could be fired @ Purdue and has a meeting sked w/ his players either today or tomorrow (could be a usual meeting, mind you)....

Didn't Painter play at Purdue........there is absolutely nothing attractive at Purdue (yes I'm biased). It would be a step down from Illinois; Purdue is the Mizzou of the Big 10: tons of appearances and even conference championships, but no Final Fours.
    Yes, Painter played @ Purdue....

Does anyone think they'd let Weber even talk to Purdue? Unless he has it written in his deal that if the Purdue job ever became available, he has an out, I don't see it...

Is there any chance they could get Weber from Illinois?

    Did you read the piece?

Cuanzo Martin, Matt Painter and Steve Lavin would be top choices....
