        he's some sort of immortal criminal mastermind...he always calls batman 'the detective'.....

        I really think they need to abandon movies and develop a really, really strong TV series....action meets CSI meets superheroes...it could work

          At the bare minimum, it looks as if this will be a departure from the cartoonish shit that Joel Shumacher was putting out. So far this one has a great cast, and a great director. That’s no guarantee for a good movie, but it sure as hell doesn’t hurt.
          If you believe in something sacrifice a hobo to it or don't bother.

              Joel Schumacher fucked it up beyond fixing, I think. That's why I think they should go to an hourly TV series that would allow them to develop characters and villans and such.

                The only good thing to come from Joel Shumacher's films was the U2 song, and even that one wasn't great.
