- Is it my imagination or are the Detroit Red Wings playing some pretty bad hockey right now?
- Did anyone watch, and stomach, the end to NYPD Blue last night? Didn't Kathy Bates already provide us with enough elder sex and nudity to last a lifetime?
- Michael Chiklas makes a prostitute swallow the barrel of a gun to intimidate her and force her to go undercover in the Shield. Nothing subtle in that symbolism.
- ESPN's The Job is proof positive that espn values the ability to be a stand up comedian as much as it values knowledge of sports in its announcers. And, while I'm on espn's obsession with entertaining me, how much longer do I have to endure a sports trivia contest between athletes as part of a sports news segment?
- Dennis Miller interviewing Desmond Tutu - now that's comedy, albeit unintentional.
- Hannity's hair bothers me a lot more than Jimmy Johnson's ever did. And my guess is that I would like JJ's political opinions a lot more than Hannity's too.
- Is anybody here so stupid that, whatever bias may exist in the press, you're not capable of discerning it? If not, then will both sides of the political spectrum shut up about bias in the media? Given the frequency with which I hear the charge, you'd think that it is a greater problem than say, world hunger.
