Jim Edmonds said 'the thing that is different this year is we don't have that jesus freak JD Drew on the team' drawing affirmative 'hear, hear's from Mike Matheny and Woody Williams'.

When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

It must be tough for writers covering Spring Training.

no, that was some other jackass. There is an article in the latest issue called 'The Passion of JD Drew' where it is hinted that Drew didn't get along in St. Louis because of his Christianity. He's much more comfortable in Atlanta where people have values and whatever.

                fuckwad.

Drew didn't get along here because the puss wouldn't play if he had a hangnail.

I didn't agree either with the direction that SI went with that Drew article. When has his christianity EVER become an issue here?

The author of the Drew article states that he is more comfortable because of the values in ATL, i'm just passing that assnugget along.
I musta missed that part b/c I was under the impression he was more confortable in ATL...

                        1) its near his family
                        2) the team is closer knit than the Cards clubhouse...

I didn't get the impression that it was based on 'Christianity'...
