  • April 12 & 13 will be my first time in Vegas.

Unfortuantly I'll be there on a Monday and Tuesday but it's Vegas so I'm assuming it'll still be jumping. Me and my 3 buddies are going. None of us has been before so any tips on cool places will be associated. Please resist the urge to send me to gay clubs or senior citizen all you can eat buffets. Thanks.

Go to the Bellagio's poker room. Very exquisite. Any limit you want they have.

The Sahara has 1-3 dollar blackjack tables. I heard the stratosphere does too. Good for cheap bastards who don't want to gamble alot like me.

For food, the Rio has an AWESOME seafood buffet for 30 bucks. AYCE crab legs, losbster tail.....my mouth is already watering.

      matt,

My best luck occured at a small place named Slots A Fun. It just to the south of Circus Circus and across the street from the Riviera.

If you play golf, i suggest checking out Boulder Creek or the Paiute golf club, they have three different 18 hole courses that are sweet. You can get good golf deals on them on www.golf702.com

I love golf, don't get me wrong. But now that I live in Arizona I get to play year round so I don't think I'll be golfing there. Drinking like a lush is another story.

I don't gamble. I'm going to drink and see tits. That reminds me, anyone know the best strip club there. There will be 4 of us there and I'm the only married one so I know we'll end up at a titty bar. I would prefer to go to the one with the least skanks.

Obviously, those guys didn't win much when they went to Vegas.

Matt, go to Vegas, blow a half a grand, get laid and have fun.

I won $500 in about 45 minutes at the Luxor on the $10 blackjack tables, and my wife cleaned up on the slots at Imperial Palace -- whose cocktail waitresses dress the best on the Strip -- which is where we stayed.

The food at RIO DOES rock. Go there. There's some cool memorabilia at Hard Rock.

That reminds me, anyone know the best strip club there.

The Palms (owned by the Maloof brothers, who own the Sac. Kings) and Hard Rock (both off strip) are younger, hipper, much more "talented" casinos. Olympic Garden, Crazy Horse Too and Spearmint Rhino are good choices if a late night ballet is in the cards. Agree that Rio buffet is outstanding, but the town is absolutely full of great food choices - can't go wrong. Bellagio, generally, is a must see. Water/music show in front of the hotel is very cool. "Rain" at The Palms is the hottest nightclub. House of Blues in Mandalay Bay is great, too.

Agreed that Paiute (3 Pete Dye courses) is a fantastic golf choice, as is Reflection Bay at Lake Las Vegas (Henderson), a Nicklaus design.

                          Have fun.

Even if I wasn't married I'd never pay for it. Now my friends would not shock me one bit if they bought an evening of companionship.
