What gave it away, the headband?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I can always count on old Pink Toes University for some laughs.

How much does it cost to enter the Paige?
      I'm always right.

I thought the donation was "anonymous."

Personally, I wanted the name to be Cracker Barrel Arena in honor of Amy Stewart and Carmento Floyd.
“I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”

Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.

              Paige Entertainment Center.

I wonder if Bill knows that's what the guys call his basement rec room?

does it matter? Can't really say though since I last saw her when she was about 7-8 or so
Next thing we know is that the Pepsi Center will be the Whitney Dome or something.

how lame is it that MU named the arena after the Laurie's daughter.
First of all, yes, she's pretty hot, at least last time I saw her. Second, MU didn't pick the name, Bill Laurie had the naming rights. Third, it should have been named after Sam Walton, he at least went to Mizzou and he's the one that made the money.
Asked what he would do differently in Iraq, Kerry said, "Right now, what I would do differently is, I mean, look, I'm not the president, and I didn't create this mess so I don't want to acknowledge a mistake that I haven't made."

I agree. Naming it after Sam Walton would be fine, the guy built an empire etc.

Name it after your kid who has done what exactly? Smacks of bad parenting for one thing.

Really, it's offensive, a slap in the face of Missouri taxpayers and university alumni.

Unbelievable, just unbelievable. Used to be if you were old money you maintained a degree of modesty and did your philanthropy behind the scenes.

These days you splatter yourself all over the rest of us.

                    Disgusting, really. No class.

What little respect I had left for MU athletics is gone.

Next time I'm in Columbia, I might have to show her my Paige Extension.

Except she doesn't even live there, which makes it more odd. It would be one thing if she was very involved in the Columbia community, but she's not.
