    The Faction...

    Just stopped over at the PB (dont know why)..and saw the new Emperor...gocards1 has some activities planned for the Faction this year...

    So, Razzy/JD...what are the factions plans this year?? What was that thread about??

          Yngwie...I saw the thread about the banner also...

          I laughed...

          I'm growing weary of the current Cardinal leadership also...but not to the point of joining a pseudo-fraternity.

          I can only hope that some of these "members" that contribute funds toward the campaign aimed at ousting someone as tyrannical as a major league manager...also contribute equal funds towards solving this nation's crisis of homelessness...

          Obviously they don't believe the government should do it...

          And the cold hard facts are...there are some people that no matter how hard they work...never have the opportunity to succeed...

          I hope Paypal has an option for matching contributions...

              “I’ve always stated, ‘I’m a Missouri Tiger,’” Anderson said March 13 after Arkansas fired John Pelphrey, adding, “I’m excited about what’s taking place here.”

              Asked then if he would talk to his players about the situation, he said, “They know me, and that’s where the trust comes in.

                  We cant fly any more banners over Busch since 911, but we can at spring training games. Plus it is before the season for once, which is better timing IMO.

                    I now see why JD says "You make the thread about me". He's a Pub Hound...and this is his way of trying to get into the public eye....because he's the unofficial "ringleader".

                    This has less to do with the Cardinals, and more to do with him...

                    Razz...as a lefty...you have no problem with folks spending their money and time on trying to oust LaRussa while we have kids in the street that have NO chance of advancing themselves, and starving at the same time...because some of these clowns you align yourself with regarding TLR sit so far to the right that they oppose any and all government support?

                    I despise welfare abuse...but there are some kids who wouldn't survive (legitimately) without it...

                    Yet the folks that decry it piss their money away on a banner trying to get a manager fired...

                    I'm sure I'll get the usual "I contribute to charity" BS...

                        It isnt as costly as you might think it is. How much money can 40-60 people raise if they all chip in 10-20 bucks?

                          Exactly. I wonder how many managers (read: LaRussa) get fired...versus how many kids keep starving...

                          But by God, the government shouldn't support these people...

                            And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.
