    OK, WTF is going on..

    Sometimes when I click on one of the buttons to post, I get a popup window with an advertisement in it. Usually it's for prevacid. Does anyone else get this? I've only experienced it on this board.

      And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.

          Sometimes, when I go to various sites, I get a pop-up from something called "WebCoolSearch." I've tried Spybot and Ad-Aware, but it doesn't see anything wrong.

          Do I have something hidden on my machine or what?

            Go to their website and use their uninstaller.

              Yeah - webcoolsearch is a particularly nasty type of spyware that's gotten onto your machine.

                I ran SpyBot S&D and AdAware, and nothing.

                The weird thing is though, it only happens on this site, and it only happens once in awhile.

                      OK. This is really messed up. I found exactly where to click to get the ad to pop up. In the lower right hand corner of each table row that has the topic header and info there is a tiny spot that you can click to get this stupid ad. I can't find anything in the HTML code from this site, but it could be hidden.

                      Does this happend to anyone else? I've run SpyBot and AdAware and both come up with nothing. This is driving me insane.
