Oh, and we also lost out on the Hockey Gladiators on Ice PPV event. Minnesota got it.

Tentative plans for the '05 Hockey Gladiators tournament are shaping up, and STL is a very likely destination.

I know you guys are joking about this, but it ticks me off.

We all know hockey is shutting down and it would have been nice to see some NHL players in another league why it was shut down.

I actually kind of wish that the WHA was coming to STL... it would have at least been professional hockey to watch during the labor war....

I still don't get why NHL players would rather play in Europe or in the WHA than in a much reformed NHL. They would still make more money in the new NHL than they would in these leagues.
