I hate Pitt's opening weekend draw. We basicly have a road game in round two, at Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I personally believe Pitt is the best team in this region but having what really is a road game like that is going to be very tough.

I think after the first weekend, our 3 ended up being better than UConn's 2. Traveling to East Rutherford will be much, much easier than traveling to Phoenix or Atlanta and will allow a lot of our fans to get to the games, if we can somehow win that Wisconsin game.

Sucks my boys Ga. Tech got a #3, but are in the same bracket as Kentucky.

Oh, another thing: Wisconsin got screwed being only a 6. It makes me think the committee didn't even consider the Big 10 title game.

              Devy,

That's messed up. Weren't the pods meant to avoid that scenario?

And why the hell does the ER bracket play in Wisconsin anyway?

                Reb:

I thought so but I guess not. I always thought the higher seeds were supposed to have more of a hometown edge in the tournament. I guess not.

If Air Force is in, I think that officially seals the deal for Mizzou and Notre Dame.

When should I start the NIT thread?

So UConn is going to be the No. 2 in the Phoenix region. If they had known that, they may have prefered to lose the Big East title game and take the No. 3 in the East Rutherford region that Pitt got, where they would have had a ton of fans (far more than potential opponent Oklahoma State will have) and where they would have faced the weakest of the No. 1 seeds if they got that far.

I'll be rooting for Pitt and UConn all the way through.

Are the St. Lou and ER Brackets on the same side?

I suppose I could wait until a printable bracket comes out, but........oh well.

How does the re-seeding in the Final Four affect office pools?
