    SIU's Painter, or SLU's Soderberg?

Or, do you look for a bigger name?

    I don't know if the booster's could handle having SLU's hand-me-downs...
. . . and to tell you this: I work with gays, have friends who are gay, go to church with gays. Most of them are aware that I believe that homosexual behavior is sin. Some of them actually agree. Most don't. It's OK . . . because they also know or at least have been made aware of my multitude of sins: adulterous heart, lustful and covetous behavior, wicked pride, angry spirit . . . do I need to go on?

That "hand me down" may just be a step up from what's going on now.

The middle Kansas defeat, the last Hearnes Center one, they must have had the microphones too close to Mizzou's bench because you could here Quinn 'coaching' often on the TV. Much MORE than I've ever heard before on a basketball game on TV.

I learned from that telecast that his game-coaching was pretty much limited to....C'MON!!!

        C'MON!!!

        C'MON!!!

Geez, a recording of 'CMON' would have been as effective.

I've come to the conclusion that this guy may be one hell of a recruiter whose players are endeared to him. But 'game time' coaching?

        C'mon!

          What he said.

I'd hire Soderberg ASAP if it were up to me.

            Let's see,

The Rams used "gotta go to work".

The Cards used "baseball like it oughta be"

            The Blues used "bleed blue".

The Mizzou football team has used "restore the roar".

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present your 2004-2005 Mizzou Tigers baskeball ad campaign:

            "Com'on guys!!!""

Painter is too unproven. We just went down that road. We need a relatively young guy who has done well elsewhere with players he has recruited himself.

Soderberg is not proven either. I'd like to think Mizzou can do better -- and I don't mean to slam Soderberg. He'd be an upgrade over Snyder most likely.

Mark Few and Tom Crean would be great, but I don't know that Mizzou could get one of those guys. I might be kidding myself.
