Automatic bids are just silly.

Sure it's FUN to see some team who isn't a top 100 team get lucky and knock off a better team in the first round, but it keeps a more deserving team out.

It's exicting for those schools to even get to the dance.

I would just as soon let those schools have their excitement as to see some 16-13 team from the Big 12 make it in only to lose in the 1st round.

I'd give Richmond the nod over Mizzou. At least they beat KU once this year.
