Here's who I saw on the not big major league field:
Vonderhaar
Squires
Delgado
Mahoney
Molina
Butler
Luna'
EMIL BROWN--talked to him a few times. I think he thought I was weird cos I not only knew who he was but also that he was doing well. I wished hin good this season about 5 times. Or more.
Cox- good bunt session. shitty bp.
witt. got distracted and paid less attention than I should have
Bo- shitty bunts but good ... nice, sweet line drives.
Kiko played around 1b on that field.
I didn't want to mess with the big guys cos we all know how good they are.
Life is complete. Gibson admonished cardinalgirl.
He said to me that I should pay attention to the game so I don't get hit by a line drive. Got Lou's autograph but not Gibby's. Love him. His hair is too long.
Gave RayKing my autograph. I saw him and pointed and asked if he could come over and talk to me when he had time (at the game). He came over the next inning and I explained the sponsorshp program and he said I was nice to sponsor him. Then I gave him the ball and he looked at it and gave it back. And I said to him that it was "YOURS TO KEEP".
He said "thanks, that's very NICE of you" God I love baseball.
So after the game I meet up with the trainer friend I met last year. He took me on a tour of Jupiter and we went to Waterway Cafe. Fun. Getting up to go to the bathroom, a dude says to me "CARDINALS" and I am all "YEP!" Then he quizzes me on the day's events. What was the score? Who gave up the runs? Who drove in the runs? I started to get the feeling the guy was testing me.
The the shit hit the fan. I am not a real cardinalgirl. The dude was Danny Schaefer. And I din't recognize him. You don't know the disappointment I felt in my self. I got over it though.
The trainer, Jimmy, and I went over to the Stadium Grill after we stopped and talked to other trainers at Quarterdeck. Fun. Their talk rocks. They administer the steroid tests.. They have their opinions. Respect for selig is not included.
Got to the Stadium Grill and couldn't find my sister and niece, but walked by a peculiarly non eyecontact making dark skinned character. I sent the 4 year old to investigate further and she wallked away with an Edgar Renteria signed baseball. Cute is cute and that's as cute a thing as I have ever seen.
Empress and Bristor are some of the nicest people I have ever met.
