Mizzou Threads?

What is up with the total and complete lack of Missouri Tiger talk on this board? I realize they've been a colossal disappointment this year, especially after being ranked in the top 5 back in December. BUT they still can make the tourney if they beat Kansas. That would be a pretty nice opportunity considering how poorly this team played this season. Where are all the Tiger fans?

I've been a rabid MU fan for years. My fondest memory is the year we went 14-0 in the Big Eight. The Tyus Edney loss was bad, but I was in a bar in New York miserable as hell when we lost to Arizona that year.

I've been growing more and more disenchanted with big-time college sports in general, and Mizzou basketball in particular. I hate the building of the new arena, I hate the ridiculous money that's involved, I hated the Ricky Clemons situation (way before Jessica Bunge, the Barton College thing alone was ludicrous) and this year takes the cake.

I really don't feel Mizzou "deserves" to be in the tourney unless they win the Big 12 tournament. They've been a collosal failure this year in most every sense of the word and to admit them to the tourney just because they beat Kansas in the Big 12 tournament is just bull.

If they win three games, maybe. I'd have to look at the teams that didn't make it to see if Mizzou was deserving.

But in a general sense, this MU team should go away and never be heard from again. If they got the guts to win the Big 12 tournament, fine. Anything short of that they're gone.

We talked about it a bit last night but Thursday's game was no big deal in that if they lost to A&M, good gravy. It was an expected win.

I just don't see them beating Kansas.

This is the most disappointed I have ever been in a Mizzou team.

Congrats on the great season your Illini have had to date. I wish them the best in the tourney.
