    Just played one inning at Wrigley.

    Morris got shelled.

    This lineup isnt as good as last years.

    Man, this is realistic when you read the above and realize its all going to take place in 2004

      i think the Sega game, ESPN, is the best.

      i played MVP last year, didn't like it near as much as ESPN (it was World Series Baseball before this year).

      i'm waiting for it to come out.

      i may have to use the same "friend" sparrow. ESPN comes out on the 23rd.

        i am semi-intrigued by the retro teams that you can unlock in MVP baseball, though. along with their respective stadiums. supposedly, they'll also make the graphics look like its from the era of whatever retro team your playing.


        once i get my ESPN baseball game, i will commence on assembling the greatest team ever........the Asstown Loungers, comprised of you guys

              I beat the Cubs in Chicago.

              3-2

              Morris gave up 5 hits and 2 runs in the first, but then went on and pitched 6 solid innings, striking out 10.

              Izzy got the save and King pitched the 7th and Kline the 8th.

              Wood ended up getting the loss, as I ripped Hawkins in the 6th.

              Marlon was beaned and I charged the mound, So Taguchi took over for him at second for the rest of the game. I watned to fight Kerry Wood.

              TLR did not blow this game, I wouldnt let him.

              Renteria singled and scored on Pujols double off the Ivy.

              Vaughn got bloop single out of reach of Sosa to score Albert. So hit a gap triple to plate Matheny to secure the win.

                It certainly is a lot better. World Series was a lot better last year, but from what I've heard, it hasn't changed all that much. Plus I like being able to manage fully my AAA and AA teams.

                I still can't really hit though.
