In a tear-filled press conference, Bertuzzi apologized to his friends, teammates, Brian Burke (VP/GM), the owner and hockey fans everywhere for the events that occurred 48 hours ago.

He led off the press conference with the apologies to Steve Moore and his family (which he kept stuttering to hold back tears) and is glad to hear that he will recover...

It seemed sincere... But I don't think it should affect his punishment. They have to send the message that this won't be allowed, remorse or no.

I don't care how bad he feels about what he did or how many times he cries over it or how many time he apologizes.

        Ban him for a year!!!

It was a good apology. But he still needs to pay the piper.

He should be banned from hockey for as long as Moore is out of hockey because of his injury and any problems resulting from the injury. Whether it'd be a month, a year, or a lifetime, so be it.

I didn't see the press conference, but I agree he still needs to be punished swiftly, no matter how much remorse he shows.

I feel bad about what happened between me and my ex-wife, and I told her as much with all kinds of side effects. She still dumped my ass, and rightfully so. Crime=time. JJ.

If he didn't show remorse, then he should be castrated and fucking sent to a psychiatric ward. No pity from me for that assclown.

He was blubbering like a baby, but I think his remorse was primarily about what's going to happen to HIM.
