  • Kerry-McCain?

My friend told me he'd heard of this possibility last night. I found a link today.

On the CBS radio news at 1:30, they said McCain said he was a close friend of Kerry's and would not rule out being the VP if offered.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least.....

If Kerry/McCain were elected, Kerry would be assassinated by GOP operatives within months.

I would vote for Kerry anyway, but this ticket would absolutely seal the deal.

On the other hand, I'd feel bad for Kerry for reasons cited above: the gop would make certain he was assassinated.

It certainly would be JFK part two conspiracy theory-wise if it happened.

                That sounds great.

Now, can we flip McCain to the top of the ticket?

I wouldn't mind that one bit.

I don't like Kerry one bit. He's an animatronic Abraham Lincoln....

How do you think Kerry's fellow Democrats would respond to this?

Hmm, I like McCain. Not Kerry so much, but this would make me think about my vote.

I'd probably end up sticking with my Bush, but it wouldn't be for sure.

I'm almost positive they wouldn't like it.

I think the Democrats have to figure out which pairing is most likely going to topple Bush/Cheney... and if it's Kerry/McCain, then so be it. I'm sure everyone would have to get behind it.

It's odd how McCain's appeal cuts right across party lines.
