  • Marlon Anderson Day

    Age: 30
    Height: 5-11
    Weight: 200 lbs.
    Bats: Left
    Throws: Right
    Pos: 2B

Born: January 6, 1974, Montgomery, AL, United States
    Full Name: Marlon Ordell Anderson
    College: S Alabama
    Experience: 6 years
    2003 Salary: $600,000

There is no way you can root against a guy with the middle name of Ordell, can you? This guy might be our leadoff man, this guy may not be our leadoff man. Only TLR knows and nobody is saying.

He wont win a gold glove but he will get the job done and will keep the ball on the infield.

He does the little things well and puts the ball in play. Marlon doesnt have an OBP that will knock you off your feet, but when have we ever had a leadoff canidate do that?

Say something nice, say something great, just please say something about Marlon Anderson.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the celebration of Marlon Anderson and stuff.

Marlon Anderson shows up every day to play baseball.
When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

        Sparrow,

I thought Reggie was the only one here who wears high heels.

I'd swear this is really CG posting except for the fact that Sparrow didn't use the phrase "and stuff".

Yes, but no mention of "asscake" either. Maybe it's Kaiser posting as Jack posting as CG?

              Its the real deal peeps.

              Fo sizzle my nizzles.

If I had cussed or been "me", it would have taken away from the sanctity of what Cg stands for.

It wouldnt be the way to go.

Well, he was named after a big fish.

So he's got that going for him.

                Which is nice.

And, tech heads can easily insert him into a sentence, as in,

"When shopping for a PC, should one buy a Compac Ordell?"

                    Enough about me, asscakes.

                    No more vapors, please.

if you are really doing this in CG style shouldn't you say

                      1) he has nice calves, so I'll be looking at his legs. They have socks on them. The socks are red.

                      2) I like red

                      3) I wonder if he forgets his sunglasses are on top of his hat? I do that, but maybe it's just because I get confused.

                      4) Free beer?
                      Are you on the list?

There was also no mention of Marlon’s height compared to Jack/cg.
If you believe in something sacrifice a hobo to it or don't bother.

                            Awesome. And stuff.

Not sure what to think about Florida Marlon, except I'm guessing he makes the team. Also guessing that he's the starting second baseman. Also guessing that he probably won't make the All-Star team.

But I doubt he's a downgrade from last year's second base squad, and if he doesn't hit lead off, he should be fine.

                            And stuff.
                            I'm always right.

You know how great the Cardinals defense has been the last few years? Well, it won't be nearly as good in 2004, not with Marlon Anderson at second. He's as bad as it gets at the position.
