      What did it say?

I know Dish and Viacom are having problems and Dish may have to drop them due to the inability to come to terms on the cost Viacom wants to charge Dish to carry their shows.

Not sure if these shows are owned by Viacom.

I have Dish network and while these stations were airin the crawl Dishnet was blocking it out. So on several stations for several minutes at a time during the day 1/3 of the screen was blacked out.

I called dishnet last night and got the following:

There is a recording that directs you to complain to CBS (Viacom). They own MTV, VH1, Nick, Nick at Nite, Comedy Central, CBS and a few others. They want to raise the rates to Dish AND cable (soon) for carring their channels.

I wanted to talk to some one from Dish to complain that they are breeching the contract I signed by pulling these stations. Of course I got the old "hold" run around but have a # to call in the morning. I will post that # if I think it will do any good.

As I've stated above, this will effect cable soon also.

              Say tuned.
