Sucks to be a Sharks fan tonight. Besides the pain for the Sturminator himself, this cuts the Sharks chances in the playoffs dramatically - he's our fastest wing. This game was an unmitigated disaster - Dallas may have just won the Pacific Division.

I wonder if the Sharks will be able to withstand such a big loss to their team.

I think they will, but I think Colorado and Vancouver are no longer in danger of holding the #2 seed, and Dallas may have just gotten the bump they needed to win the division. Sucks.

I still don't see the Stars winning the Pacific Division.

Only four points back now, with 15 to play, plus their schedule is easier than the Fish. We'll see how they bounce back against the Stars this weekend.

How many head-to-haed games do the Sharks and Stars have left against one another?

Do you really think sharks are "fish"?

Three. And four against Los Angeles.

Sharks are fish. They are of class Chondrichthyes,
which are cartiliginous fish, along with rays and chimaeras. Link.

Any chance they fill that hole left by Sturm or do they trudge ahead?
