What's our exit strategy in Germany, Japan, and the rest of Europe?
And, frankly, it has never occured to me that "winning" a debate is important, or that I should be hurt when someone like Airshark or kah, among others (for whom winning a pseudo debate or declaring intellectual superiority over invisible others is obviously very important) ridicule me.

It wasn't sold that way, John. No sacrifice required was the pitch. We can even have a tax cut. I can pull the Cheney "we will be greeted as liberators, I've been assured by my good friend the great Iraqi exile Chalabi" quote from MTP, but you guys didn't absorb it any of the previous times I've posted it, so why bother?

Defeat their armies and depose their dictators.

That worked pretty well back then.

Hope Dubya wasn't using that same formula today since the WWII model of warfare went out the window after Korea.

1 - Would have been nice if he had told the rest of the nation it was about MORE than WMD.
If you ahd been listening since 1998 you would of known that.

Are you suggesting that Bush's justification for invading Iraq was anything other than the WMD threat?

Powell's presentation to the UN and Bush's remarks to the people, while acknowledging the atrocities of the Saddam regime, used the possession of WMD as the justification for attacking Iraq.

              Have we forgotten so quickly?

Bush continued: “America will be making only one determination: Is Iraq meeting the terms of the Security Council resolution or not? The United States has agreed to discuss any material breach with the Security Council, but without jeopardizing our freedom of action to defend our country. If Iraq fails to fully comply, the United States and other nations will disarm Saddam Hussein.”

I believe that WMD's will be found after awhile. We're going to plant a few.
The WMD's will be found in September, and Bin Laden will be captured in October.

That's just the way it goes in the election year... <_<

We probably have Osama as we speak. The administration will wait for the most opprotune time to make the announcement.

I don't trust this administration to tell me that the sky is blue. I'll have to see it to believe it.
