    Ellen Gets 12 Emmy Noms

    Or do you think a "message" is being sent?

    Ellen DeGeneres' new talk show was nominated for 12 Daytime Emmy Awards on Thursday, and "The Young and the Restless" led the soap opera pack with 16 nods.
    When you say to your neighbor, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night if that's alright with you," what you really mean is, "We're having a loud party on Saturday night."

    I don't think a message is being sent. Her show is funny and entertaining and definitely popular. I can see why the show had so many nominations.

          I understand. I've watched it a lot. It's actually one of the few shows on daytime television that's worth watching these days. My opinion, of course.

            I try to catch her show. She has one of the better ones on during the day. Very entertaining and funny. I'm not a big Ellen fan, but I do like her show

                  She's funny, at least when she doesn't push her sexuality. And she doesn't on the show, from the times I've seen it.

                  She's best when she funny off the cuff.

                    My wife is on maternity leave, so her day goes like this:

                    Today show-Regis and Kelly-The View-and then Ellen.

                    Between talk shows there is an awful lot of Lifetime on the tv.

                    I like Ellen, her jokes arent all that funny, but she is overall a very funny person. Especially as stated earlier, "when she is off the cuff".

                      she kinda catches you as you're channel surfing and she comes on at a time that is most vulnerable to watching anything. she seems pretty good, makes people feel relaxed and doesn't scare them or make them answer personal questions...well from what i've seen.
