I can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't really care if the Blues win or lose. Don't even care that they're playing actually. That's how much disdain I have for hockey and especially this organ-I-zation right now.
Until Lar is gone, this team won't have success.

IMO, this game is the season for the Blues -- a win keeps those false playoff hopes alive, a loss puts them 8 points out and almost entirely out of reach with so few games left to play.
Personally, I'm rooting for the loss. This is EXACTLY what needs to happen to see wholesale changes to turn this team into a cup contender in a few seasons.....

Bernie's post about the Sillinger trade from the P-D:
FYI,
Kitchen's plans are to use Sillinger for key faceoffs, but also to deploy him in a checking role, and move Cajanek out of a checking role and into a more offensive role.
BTW, I had a lengthy interview with Sauer today. I repeated the criticisms of the organization and wanted his responses. I also asked him to explain what the plan is for the future. I will probably run it as a Q & A type of column. He doesn't offer his views that often but he opened up to me. Much of what he said will likely displease Blues fans.
Cheers,
Bernie

Danton isn't a difference maker. They would lose even if he played.
Bernie's comments from the post above don't worry me. We've never liked anything Sauer had to say. Why should this be any different?

I realize the Blues would lose with or without Danton, but they will lose by a greater margin without him. Please do not reply to this post, there is nothing more to say :P
