Im kind of partial to Keaton, Batman had sucked after he quit. What happened to him anyway, you dont see him in many movies anymore?? I seen Jackie Brown the other day and was wondering why I hadnt seen him anywhere.

. . . and to tell you this: I work with gays, have friends who are gay, go to church with gays. Most of them are aware that I believe that homosexual behavior is sin. Some of them actually agree. Most don't. It's OK . . . because they also know or at least have been made aware of my multitude of sins: adulterous heart, lustful and covetous behavior, wicked pride, angry spirit . . . do I need to go on?

I read some "rumors" and such last year about the new Batman movie. Supposedly (and without reading the posted article yet), it's suppose to revolve around the Batman:Year One time frame. There also won't be latex suits that no one can move in and the batmobile isn't suppose to be something that looks like it could fly if there was a gust of wind.
Originally posted by SLUBLUE@Mar 4 2004, 06:58 AM honestly, joel schumacher ruined that franchise.....it went being from stupid and campy to really, really cool to stupid and campy
it's a shame
This could be a good discussion...what other comics/geek out updates have you liked?
I for one, thought Spider Man was great.
I also liked the update of Battlestar Galactica on the Sci Fi channel
I'm liking the X-men films. Although, I was a little disappointed that they started the Jean Gray/Phoenix plot already.
Ok this might start a fight but Batman is not a real super hero. He has no super powers. He was created in the early part of the century as a crime fighter. He should be cast as such. Not as a modern day super hero.
Keaton was the best.
The nipples I can do without.
A reminder.....Holy Week is coming up for the Irish. Anyone up for walking in the Dogtown Parade? Or stumbling down Tamm?
Christian Bale? I never would've pinned him for Batman...but don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore him. Heh. Empire Of The Sun, then Newsies, and American Psycho leads to Batman. It's an odd progression.
Keaton was the only decent Batman of the bunch.

Why not? In American Psycho he did well I thought.
