  • Rams re-sign Oshiomogho Atogwe

According to 101 ESPN in St. Louis' Brian Stull, the St. Louis Rams have re-signed Oshiomogho Atogwe to a multi--year deal.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Atogwe, the club's third round draft choice out of Stanford in 2005, registered 74 tackles - 58 solo - and two interceptions in an injury-hampered 2009 season.

    Via the team's website:

“I’m at peace,” Atogwe said. “I am very excited to be coming back. It was a long drawn out process but I believe it was supposed to be that way just so that the right decision could be made. I believe and am thankful that the right decision was made.”
The official announcement by the Rams can be found here.

    ***UPDATE at 12:34PM CDT***
The NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora reports that Atogwe's deal is for five years.
