• Cardinals GM Mozeliak lands three-year extension

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that the St. Louis Cardinals and general manager John Mozeliak have agreed to a three-year extension.

The club will be making a formal announcement on Mozeliak's extension at a 3:30 PM CDT press conference at Busch Stadium.

Mozeliak, who replaced the dismissed Walt Jocketty as the club's general manager in October 2007, initially had a three-year deal that ran through the end of the 2010 season.
