    The St. Louis Blues have announced the signing of restricted free agent David Perron to a two-year deal. The pact is said to be worth approximately $4.3 million ($1.8M and $2.5M per each season), according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch and STLToday.com beat writer Jeremy Rutherford.

    In a release, Blues executive vice-president/general manager Doug Armstrong lauded the forward's growth as a player in his short tenure in St. Louis.

    Thomas also reports to not expect a deal to be wrapped up any time soon but the hope is that both sides can reach an accord before the start of the team's training camp, which gets underway July 28 at the Russell Athletic Training Facility in Earth City, Mo.
